National Research Network for Innovation in the Public Sector
INNOFF is the national network for researchers with interest for innovation
in the public sector in Norway.
The purpose of the INNOFF network is to make visible and actualize research, and to improve the interaction between research and other actors working with innovation in and for the public sector. The network aims to:
- Strengthen research on innovation in the Norwegian public sector,
- Strengthen national research expertise and increase visibility in the field,
- Develop arenas, primarily for researchers, but also meeting places between research, policy and practice.
Network members include interested researches from universities, colleges and research institutes. The network has contact persons at each institution who are responsible for communicating information between the network and the institution and maintaining an overview of interested researchers in their own institutions. The network is dynamic in the sense that all institutions that conduct research on innovation in the public sector can join the network. Public actors can also be members of the network.

On an institutional level, participation in the network involves having a contact person. In order to ensure continuity in the network, financial contributions are welcome.
